Barbara and I moved from an adult condominium community as we were finding meal preparation and household chores a bit daunting. Those concerns have been resolved along with others not anticipated. In the early days, we pinched ourselves daily to see if LaSalle Park was for real. We love our accommodations, the windows and the views, the building is luxurious and spacious. The staff are solicitous, obliging and most willing to answer every request. Despite Barbara's reputation as a good cook, we look forward to the choices and the food each meal. Even the word, 'community' has taken on new meanings. I've learned that people truly want to be neighbourly and helpful. There is always something that can be done to aid the running of the place or help another. The days have passed quickly with much fulfillment, My personal observations of incoming residents leads me to strongly believe that one should make the choice to move a place like LaSalle while you are able to make the adaptations and to enjoy what is available for active seniors.
